FSU Football: Three Reasons Malik Henry May Never Start At FSU

FSU football got one of the prized quarterback recruits of the 2016 recruiting cycle when Malik Henry chose the ‘Noles. He was the fourth highest rated recruit in the class, and also an early enrollee which usually bodes well for quarterbacks to begin picking up the offense.

Henry participated in the April spring game and played quite well, but has since seemed to regress a bit during fall camp.

Coach Fisher has used terms like “solid” or “ok” when asked about the backup quarterbacks JJ Cosentino and Malik Henry. Those are not exactly ringing endorsements, and even more troubling is Henry hasn’t put on any weight whatsoever after being at FSU for nearly nine months.
