With each and every passing day, fans of FSU football are getting closer and closer to what may be the most anticipated opener in the program’s history – and possibly the biggest opening weekend game in the history of college football. In less than seven weeks, the Seminoles travel to Atlanta for a game with Alabama that has dozens of storylines.
The main one, of course, being that this could be the first ever game in college football history to have the No. 1 and No. 2 teams open the season against each other. The Seminoles and Crimson Tide are also two of the favorites to end up making the College Football Playoff – possibly playing for the national title on January 8th in the same Atlanta stadium where they will open the year.
