It was just over two years ago that FSU football got a huge pickup at the expense of a hated rival. Dalvin Cook, one of the top recruits in the entire country, announced that he was flipping his commitment from the Florida Gators to the Seminoles.
The Miami native has been a force to be reckoned with during his two seasons in Tallahassee, rushing for over 1,000 yards as a freshman in 2014 and setting the school’s single season rushing record in 2015 with 1,691 yards and 19 touchdowns.
In last season’s meeting between the Seminoles and Gators, Cook went for 183 yards and two touchdowns in FSU’s 27-2 win over their rivals.
