When the 2016 college football regular season is all said and done, FSU football’s best player could be in New York City to collect some hardware as the school’s fourth Heisman Trophy winner. Until then, running back Dalvin Cook will just have to settle for being one of the top players in the game entering the year.
In a season with plenty of depth at the running back position, the Sporting News recently ranked their list of the top 25 players at that position entering the 2016 campaign. Cook, who set the FSU football single season rushing record last season despite missing nearly two full games, was ranked third overall by the publication with this breakdown of his skills:
