After back-to-back deflating losses, all FSU basketball needed was a win. It doesn’t matter that it came in Tallahassee, against the worst team in the conference. After all, the Boston College Eagles are 9-19 on the year, 2-13 in conference. The Seminoles merely had to dominate their vastly inferior opponent. And dominate, they did.
Florida State led by double digits for almost the entire game. The final margin — 104 to 72 — was one of their biggest conference wins ever.
Dwayne Bacon bounced back nicely after his zero point outing versus the Pitt Panthers. Bacon finished with 16 points, five rebounds and four assists, with four three-pointers.
