Jameis Winston has taken the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from the basement of the NFL NFC South Division to a team that’s vying for a playoff spot in 2017.
The team won nine games in 2016 after winning six in Winston’s rookie season, a far cry from the measly two they won prior to selecting him in the NFL Draft with the No. 1 overall pick.
He is the first quarterback to pass for over 4,000 yards in each of his first two seasons. Winston is a leader on and off the field, and has even converted former Miami Hurricanes into believers in his abilities.
