Last season, the ACC found themselves in quite the situation just months before their annual football championship game when officials from member schools and the conference voted to move the game from Charlotte due to the controversial bathroom law regarding transgender citizens in the state of North Carolina.
The last minute move sent the game to Orlando, in a return to the state of Florida which hosted the first five ACC football championship games. With the law still on the books in the Tar Heel State, the conference will likely make a decision before this summer whether to move the game again as part of their initial decision regarding the issue.
