Florida State Football Recruiting: 2016 TE Commit Isaac Nauta Officially Moves To Florida

Elite former Buford (GA) tight end and 2016 Florida State Seminoles commit Isaac Nauta is all-in as a Noles commit, officially moving from Georgia to Florida to enroll at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida.

“The move has been good, it’s been smooth, just got moved into my dorm and I’m ready to get to work,” Nauta said to Noles247.

"My dad had some business opportunities in Jacksonville, Florida and we were going to make the move," Nauta added. "I started looking into schools and found IMG. They have a great program and great facilities. When I visited I felt it was the best spot for me.”

Nauta committed to FSU back in December and has felt welcome in the team's 2016 recruiting class ever since.

“I like a lot of the guys in the 2016 class we have committed," Nauta said. "I’ve had a chance to meet with all of the. Got to meet Malik Henry and throw with him at the Under Armour Elite 50, which was cool. I like him a lot. I think we’re going to have a really good class.”

He's even looking to play the role of recruiting, as he has three IMG Academy teammates in mind that he's trying to sway towards Tallahassee.

“I want Saivion SmithRahshaun Smith for sure and probably Shavar Manuel, he’s on campus with me now too. He’s real cool and I think he likes FSU, so we’ll see.”
