SUNRISE (CBSMiami) – The struggling Florida Panthers have made a couple roster moves in an attempt to get the team back on track.
The Panthers announced on Wednesday that forwards Rocco Grimaldi and Garrett Wilson have been sent down to the team’s AHL affiliate, the Portland Pirates.
To replace them, Florida has called up forwards Connor Brickley and Logan Shaw.
Brickley, 23, played in 10 games with the Panthers this season, recording one goal, two assists and 14 penalty minutes.
Shaw, 23, has played in 13 games with Portland this year.
