The Florida Panthers announced today that Doug Plagens has been named the team’s new radio play-by-play broadcaster and will serve as the “voice” of the Panthers on the club’s newly created radio network, which can be heard on Miami Sports Radio 560-WQAM this season.
“We are extremely pleased and honored to welcome Doug as our team’s new radio play-by-play broadcaster,” said Florida Panthers Executive Chairman Peter Luukko. “Doug is a dynamic, young and talented broadcaster who brings with him a tremendous resume and strong background in broadcasting, serving as a play-by-play announcer for several professional sports teams.
