Robinson, Wizards reach deal

Former Florida forward Devin Robinson has signed a two-way deal with the Washington Wizards, according to multiple reports.

Under terms of the deal, newly-instituted in this year’s NBA Collective Bargaining Agreement, Robinson will be allowed to play up to 45 days with the Wizards but will spend the rest of the time in the G-League. Robinson joins forward Michael Young as the 16th and 17th players on Washington’s roster, eligible to be called up if someone on the 15-man roster is injured or released.

The 6-foot-8 Robinson went just 3 of 16 from the field in three summer league games with the Wizards, but showed enough potential on the defensive end of the floor to convince Washington to sign him.
