Antonio Morrison’s remarkable story just keeps getting better and better.
At this time a year ago, the Florida middle linebacker was still early in his recovery from two surgeries on his left knee, and there was serious doubt whether he’d ever be able to play again.
“I was out there walking,” he said. “I wasn’t running.”
Now, he’s sprinting toward an NFL career.
On Saturday, Morrison was selected in the fourth round of the NFL draft by the Indianapolis Colts, another feel-good moment in what has been an inspiring comeback.
