GAINESVILLE, Fla. — An upbeat Jim McElwain said he liked his team’s psyche heading into Saturday’s Florida-Georgia game.
“I like where we’re at mentally,” McElwain said Thursday.
McElwain also provided some injury updates. The most important: Star linebacker Jarrad Davis practiced in a limited fashion Wednesday, which points to a strong chance he will suit up and play against his home-state Bulldogs despute an ankle injury. Linebacker cohort Alex Anzalone was seen on video in the open portion of practice saying, “JD is back! JD is back!”
