JACKSONVILLE – Jacksonville Jaguars defensive end Dante Fowler Jr. finally is at the most important step in his recovery from a torn ACL that forced him to miss his rookie season in 2015. He’s no longer thinking about it.
“It’s out of my head, mentally,” Fowler said.
Fowler, a Florida standout drafted third overall in 2015, injured his knee during a rookie mini-camp a few weeks after he was drafted.
“It is hard to believe it’s been two years,” Fowler said. “The coolest thing about it is the progress I see while we’re doing the conditioning work.
