With spring recruiting almost finished, the next phase for Florida coach Jim McElwain and his staff will be the camp circuit. The Gators’ staff will host at least 15 on-campus camps, with a majority of them in June. They also will take part in the satellite camps this summer as well.
The next time this staff will get some time off will be in July. Then, the season for coaches essentially begins the last week in July as they ready for fall camp and installation of the defense, offense and special teams. While the nine full-time guys are recruiting and working camps, many of the support staffers will begin working on opponent breakdowns and self-scouts for the players and coaches.
