There has been a lot of consternation and focus on the dark side of college athletics this offseason. Especially when it comes to culture surrounding sexual assault on college campuses.
These are serious issues that have come to light and entered the public discussion in a serious way. They are hard conversation we have to have.
But there is good. As men come to recognize the culture on their campuses and learn how to step up and protect those who are being victimized. It is this kind of story that gives hope that the nasty headlines are coming to a close and things are getting better.
