The Florida Gators coaching staff has made it a point of emphasis to lock down the state of Florida’s top talent in the class of 2017. At the top of the recruiting board is Ohio State cornerback commit Shaun Wade, from Trinity Christian in Jacksonville.

The 6’1, 177 pound corner had a great spring game against Jacksonville Raines, snagging an interception and taking it back for a 35-yard touchdown on the way to a 38-6 win. Wade, one of the best cornerback recruits in the nation says he hears from new defensive backs coach Torrian Gray.

“He tells me that he wants me real bad,” said Wade of Gray’s message to him.
