DESTIN — Florida Gators star receiver Antonio Callaway is not enrolled in Summer A classes at the University of Florida, according to Jim McElwain. Speaking at the SEC spring meetings McElwain initially answered a question regarding the status of Treon Harris and Antonio Callaway saying, “same deal.” When asked directly if Callaway was taking classes in the first Summer session, — Summer A — McElwain responded, “no, not right now.”
Neither player has been around the team since January. Gainesville attorney Huntley Johnson released a statement in March, saying Callaway was being suspended for a violation of the UF Student Code of Conduct.
