The Florida Gators shocked many people by being in the College Football Playoff conversation last season. As for the 2016 college football season, well, the Gators aren’t getting much respect once again.
The major polls are out, and the Gators are ranked No. 25 in both of them. Entering the season ranked is quite the feat, but this is Florida we are talking about — it is expected to be ranked on a yearly basis.
Looking back at last season’s preseason polls, Florida was snubbed from the rankings altogether. Of course, the Gators ending up winning 10 out of their first 11 games.
