At one point in the draft process, it appeared as if Florida cornerbacks Jalen Tabor and Quincy Wilson could be first-round picks. They ended up being selected within seven picks of each other in the second round Friday night.

Wilson went 14th in the round, 46th overall, to Indianapolis. Tabor was the 21st pick in the round and the 53rd overall, and went to Detroit. Gators safety Marcus Maye also went in the second round; he was the seventh pick in the round, 39th overall, by the New York Jets.

With the first-round selection of linebacker Jarrad Davis (also by Detroit), that meant four Florida defenders went in the first 53 picks.
