The Florida Gators will kick off their season on Sept. 3 against the Massachusetts Minutemen. That’s right, before we know it, college football will be back.

The Gators are coming off of a season in which they finished with a 10-4 record. At one point, the Gators, unexpectedly, looked like serious College Football Playoff contenders. They were 6-0 on the season, things were finally clicking on offense and Florida, for the first time since Tim Tebow graced the Swamp with his presence, had a quarterback who they could rely on in Will Grier.

To make a long story short, Grier was suspended, and the offense was never the same.
