Offensive line is the position that gets the most attention as far as needs go for the Florida Gators, but getting linebackers in the class of 2016 is also a huge need.
During the spring evaluation period the Gators have visited several top linebacker targets and two weeks ago the Gators offered another one that is committed to an arch rival.
Miami linebacker commit Zach McCloud (6-2, 218, Lake Worth, FL Santaluces) was the recipient of that offer from the Gators after defensive line coach Chris Rumph visited him at his school.
“It was coach Rumph that offered me over the phone,” McCloud said.
