The Florida Gators are doing a great job of getting early offers out to 2017 prospects this spring and that is mainly true for prospects in the state of Florida.
Defensive line coach Chris Rumph has taken charge of the Tampa area and he gave an offer to another 2017 prospect two weeks ago when he offered athlete Devan Barrett (6-1, 195, Tampa, FL Catholic) after watching his practice.
“Coach Rumph from Florida offered me,” Barrett said. “It was two weeks ago that they offered me. I called him one night and he was telling me that he likes my game and that I can play both sides of the ball.
