Florida Atlantic coach Lane Kiffin did not hesitate in his response on Wednesday morning: Are you comfortable with FAU being known as a second-chance destination for players?
“Sure,” Kiffin said. “We’ve always believed in second chances, especially talking about young kids. It’s not like all these kids it’s really [a] second chance like they’ve made major mistakes. Just because a kid may decide to go to a junior college on his own is different. Some guys have had some issues.
“We’re glad to give guys second chances. I think most of us have had them in life, especially at a young age.
