Florida Atlantic defensive end Trey Hendrickson accepted an invitation to the prestigious East-West Shrine Game, organizers announced Wednesday.
Hendrickson finished his career at FAU as the school's all-time leader in sacks, tackles for loss, quarterback hurries, forced fumbles, yards from sacks and yards from tackles for loss. He played his final game as an Owl on Saturday in a 77-56 loss to Middle Tennessee State, when he recorded one tackle and 0.5 tackles for loss.
The 92nd East-West Shrine Game will be played Jan. 21 at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, at 3 p.m. It will be televised on NFL Network.
