Florida Atlantic has added a game to its 2023 schedule, setting a visit to Clemson for Sept. 16, 2023.
FAU will get paid $1.2 million for the game, according to the contract between the two schools. The date is tentative and could be moved to Aug. 26, 2023 if an additional week is added to the beginning of the 2023 season.
The game against Clemson is the second non-conference game on FAU’s 2023 schedule. The Owls are set to host Ohio on Sept. 9, 2023.
The matchup against Clemson will be the second meeting between the two schools, with the Tigers winning the first one in 2006, 54-6.
