Florida Atlantic's offensive line remains banged up even after the Owls were idle this weekend.
According to coach Charlie Partridge, redshirt senior Kelly Parfitt (knee) is doubtful for Saturday's game against Western Kentucky and redshirt junior Jakobi Smith (concussion) is questionable.
Parfitt missed four straight games with the injury before returning to the lineup against Marshall on Oct. 15. Usually a right tackle, Parfitt shifted inside to right guard since it required less mobility. Partridge also said the improvement of Bryan Beck at right tackle allowed FAU to move Parfitt inside.
Parfitt reinjured himself in the Marshall loss and was seen on the sidelines in the second half in street clothes.
