As they do every year, the MLS Players Union has released the player salaries for 2017.
The first number listed is the players base salary. The second number is the players guaranteed compensation, which for some players is the same as their base and for others included bonus and other salary escalators. Neither number is the same as a players salary cap number, but the 2nd number can be used for some vague cap calculations.
