Jack Kiersey has signed his first professional contract with Everton Football Club.
The Blues youngster has put pen to paper on a one-year deal which will run until June 2018.
The central midfielder, who is eligible to represent England and the Republic of Ireland, has been a regular for Everton Under-18s this season and was recognised earlier this month as the team’s Player of the Year for 2016/17.
“Winning the award and signing the new contract is special,” said Kiersey. “It is what I’ve always wanted, what I’ve always been aiming for since I joined Everton’s Academy when I was 10 years old.
