Everton midfielder Ross Barkley appears to have had enough with social media after opting to completely delete his personal Instagram account.
The 23-year-old, who has been heavily linked with a move away from Goodison Park this summer, has removed his profile from the picture sharing website without any explanation.
Barkley used to regularly post match images of himself wearing the blue of Everton on Instagram, often in the aftermath of a weekend game.
The images ranged from the standard celebratory snaps following emphatic victories to the sometimes cryptic - with Barkley on previous occasions being known to simply post monotone images of himself with no captions during periods of unrest.
