Everton interested in Sheffield United star David Brooks after impressing for England during Toulon Tournament

Everton are keeping tabs on Sheffield United attacking midfielder David Brooks.

The 20-year-old piqued Everton manager Ronald Koeman’s interest after he starred for England in their surprise Toulon Tournament win last month.

Brooks, who has 18 months remaining on his current deal at Sheffield United, was set to leave on loan for Chesterfield as part of the deal that saw Ched Evans move in the other direction before the tournament.
