Georgia Brougham says it’s a “dream come true” after she joined Gabby George in becoming a full-time professional at Everton Ladies.
After her defensive partner became the first player in the Blue Girls’ history to go full-time on Monday, George was quickly followed by 21-year-old Brougham, with the former Manchester City youngster penning a two-year deal.
Turning professional is reward for years of hard work for the former England youth international and she is delighted to do so at Everton.
“To be called a professional footballer sounds amazing,” she told evertontv. “It is all I have ever wanted.
