The Edmonton Oilers made a move today, one that speaks louder volumes than even a Justin Schultz trade would say. They have recalled Condors netminder Laurent Brossoit and assigned Anders Nilsson to Bakersfield.
This move comes after Nilsson allowed three goals on nine shots, all within the first eight minutes of Edmonton’s horrifying 8-1 loss to the New York Islanders.

Nilsson heads to Bakersfield with a 3.14 GAA and a .901 save percentage. “Anders the Giant” has had a rough-go-of-it, made even more evident by Cam Talbot‘s big three-year extension.
