Though none of the Edmonton Oilers looked truly ready in Sunday’s 6-2 loss to Buffalo, one player’s poor performance stood out.

Benoit Pouliot not only took a couple of penalties but also struggled when it came to turnovers and two-way play. He had two giveaways and four penalty minutes and did not impress by any means.

Though he scored a goal with a strong drive to the net in the first period, Pouliot has not looked impressive to start the season. He has taken multiple penalties and has cost his team on those play.

Head coach Todd McLellan was beyond angered by Pouliot’s experience and expressed his frustrations post-game.
