Edmonton Oilers Make Multiple Transactions Following Loss

First, Edmonton reassigned forward Jesse Puljujarvi to the AHL Bakersfield Condors. He has struggled greatly since coming into the NHL, posting just a single goal and eight points over 40 games.

With time in the AHL, the 18-year-old will get the chance to flourish and adjust to North American hockey. He will likely take on top-six minutes and get more scoring opportunities.

Overall, the move will be better for Puljujarvi, as well as the Oilers. Both will be better off with a break from expectations.

Anton Slepyshev

To replace Puljujarvi, Edmonton recalled Anton Slepyshev from Bakersfield.
