Edmonton Oilers Look to Start Preseason 2-0 Against Canucks

The Edmonton Oilers will attempt to go 2-0 to start the preseason, taking on the Vancouver Canucks Wednesday at 8 p.m.

This is the first time to see Milan Lucic in action on a line with Connor McDavid. The two showed glimpses of strong on-ice chemistry at Tuesday’s camp session.

Here are the projected forward lines for Wednesday’s matchup:

Milan Lucic-Connor McDavid-Jordan Eberle

Patrick Maroon-Drake Caggiula-Kris Versteeg

Benoit Pouliot-Jere Sallinen-Anton Slepyshev

Taylor Beck-Jujhar Khaira-Tyler Pitlick

Nail Yakupov was supposed to play, but due to what Bob Stauffer called a “minor issue,” Versteeg is taking his spot on the right side.
