As the Edmonton Oilers hunt for defensemen conitnues, it looks more and more liekly that they will need to turn to free agency for a little extra help. Next up on the Oilers free agent tracker is defenseman Roman Polak.
Evaluation
Polak is a pretty big defenseman when it comes to weight; he is 6-foot-0 and weighs in at 237 pounds. Many Oilers fans may have a dislike for Polak, probably because his big hit on Matt Hendricks and his complaints against Darnell Nurse, who pummeled him in retaliation for the hit.
One of the problems plaguing the Edmonton Oilers’ defense core is lack of experience.
