NORFOLK, Va. (EMUEagles.com) — The Eastern Michigan University women's swimming and diving team was recognized by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) for its excellence in the classroom Wednesday, June 20. As a team, the Green and White were named CSCAA Scholar All-America for its cumulative 3.54 grade point average. Meanwhile, 11 Eagles garnered CSCAA Individual Scholar All-America accolades, including a pair of first team honorees. Both EMU's GPA and number of individual selections were the best in the Mid-American Conference.
