Wagner's Record Breaking Performance Paces Eagles on Day Two of MAC Championships

OXFORD, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) – Senior Sierra Wagner's (Huntsville, Texas-Huntsville) record-breaking performance highlighted the Eastern Michigan University women's swimming and diving team's second day of competition at the Mid-American Conference Championships Thursday night, Feb. 23, in Oxford, Ohio.

As a team, the Eagles stand in third, trailing Akron and Buffalo. The Green and White hold a one-point edge over Miami, and have accumulated a total of 206 points.

Sophomore Nicole Swartz (Dayton, Ohio-Centerville) was EMU's top finisher in the 500 Freestyle, clocking in with a career-best time of 4:49.
