(EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University softball team could not muster enough offense to keep pace with the hot-hitting Broncos of Western Michigan University, Saturday, April 22. The Green and White were out-hit 24-14 on the day, as the Eagles dropped the doubleheader 7-5 and 13-1.

Sophomore Amanda Akles (La Habra, Calif.-La Habra) and junior Haley Hostetler (New Haven, Ind.-Woodlan) accounted for six of EMU's 10 hits on the day, as the pair each posted multi-hit efforts.
