Eagles Sit in First-Place After Day One of EMU Invitational

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – Four wins fueled the Eastern Michigan University men's swimming and diving team to a solid lead on day one of the EMU Invitational Friday night, Dec. 2, at Jones Natatorium. The Eagles picked up three individual victories and a relay win while compiling a day one total of 424.5 points. EMU currently sits in first-place and holds a 175-point lead over second-place Wayne State.

The Green and White swept the top five spots on the 3-meter springboard to begin the meet. Senior Alex Chan (Toronto, Ontario-Neil McNeil Secondary) led the way with a season-best score of 359.
