PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University baseball team could not overcome a five-run inning in an 8-4 defeat to Dartmouth College, Saturday afternoon, Feb. 25 at the Snowbird Classic in Port Charlotte, Fla. EMU (2-5) and Dartmouth (1-0) were tied at one going into the sixth inning, but the five-run frame proved too much to overcome.
Eastern was led offensively once again by senior John Montgomery (Anaheim Hills, Calif.-JSerra) who had his sixth multi-hit game of the season in a 2-for-4 effort, including a double and his team-leading seventh RBI.
