The redshirt senior recorded her fourth double-double of the season while playing all but one minute, scoring 20 points and pulling down 11 rebounds.
Fellow redshirt senior Khadidja Toure added 13 points while shooting 6-for-8 from the field.The two also combined for eight of ECU’s season-high 22 turnovers.
"You've got to value the ball,” head coach Heather Macy said. “I talk to the girls all the time that teams that understand winning understand value. So we've got to do a better job.”
It took a strong defensive performance for the Pirates to overcome their turnover problems, while they forced 18 turnovers themselves.
