Archie Miller’s dad said State never had a chance to hire his sone and it’s not because it’s not an elite job. It’s because of trust:
“Yeah, everyone thought N.C. State, but I knew that wasn’t gonna happen,” Miller’s father, John, told the Dayton Daily News. “He knows that place too well. You gotta have trust in the people above you that they’ll stand by you.”
Immediately you’d think of A.D. Debbie Yow, who has a bad reputation among coaches for having an itchy trigger finger.
