DURHAM, N.C. – Duke redshirt senior Lucas Patrick is a two-year starter at left guard for the Blue Devils. During his two seasons along the line, the Blue Devils have surrendered just 28 sacks, an average of 1.08 per contest.
Coach David Cutcliffe’s Duke Football Show caught up with Patrick and he discussed a few of his favorite plays with Blue Devil Network’s Dave Harding, who Patrick took over for at left guard. Patrick got on the white board and explained how he opens space in run blocking schemes.
