DURHAM, N.C. – For the second straight week, Duke University’s Leona Maguire will compete on the LPGA Tour as the senior will participate in the Marathon Classic by Owens Corning and O-I July 20-23 at Highland Meadows Golf Club in Sylvania, Ohio.
Fresh off her second appearance in the U.S. Women’s Open last week, Maguire will compete with two other former Blue Devils in the event including Laetitia Beck and Brittany Lang.
Dealing with inclement weather, Maguire missed the cut at the U.S. Women’s Open with rounds of 75 and 78. She has already featured a busy summer competing in the Vagliano Trophy and winning the prestigious Ladies’ British Open Amateur Championship.
