ESPN college basketball analyst Jay Bilas was recently on the David Glenn Radio Show to discuss a variety of topics including the high expectations for Duke Basketball for the upcoming season. Bilas had great things to say about the Blue Devils, comparing this year’s team to the 1991-92 NCAA National Championship team.
Jay Bilas played for the Blue Devils from 1986-1989 under head coach Mike Krzyzewski. He was also part of the Duke coaching staff from 1989-1992 working as an assistant.
Duke Basketball have already been projected to be the top overall seed for the NCAA Tournament in the postseason and are expected to win the national title going into the season as favorites.
