Duke Men Perform Well in Front of Home Crowd

DURHAM, N.C. – The ninth-ranked men’s Duke fencing team used the energy of a friendly crowd to pick up three wins and come close to topping two top-five teams Saturday at the Duke Meet. The Blue Devil men now own a season record of 14-6 after their 3-2 performance.

On the day, the Duke men logged victories over Brandeis (19-8), North Carolina (18-9) and Johns Hopkins (16-11), while falling in a pair of tight matches to No. 2 Notre Dame (11-16) and No. 4 Penn State (15-12).
