CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -- The Duke women’s tennis team continued its winning ways in Chapel Hill, N.C., Friday during day two of the ITA Regional Championships Presented by Oracle, as five singles players reached the round of 16 and three doubles pairs advanced to the quarterfinal round of the tournament. The third day of play begins Saturday at 9 a.m. with singles action.
The Blue Devils kick-started day two by posting a 5-2 singles record in the singles main draw, with senior Chalena Scholl, junior Samantha Harris, sophomores Ellyse Hamlin and Kaitlyn McCarthy and freshman Meible Chi each posting a victory.
