Interesting idea with one unproven factor.
Ricky O’ Donnell says that Duke has put together a collegiate “super team,” and in a sense he’s right.
It’s a group with experience and brilliant young talent and as he says, the pieces fit.
Duke does have one spot that’s not yet proven though and that’s point guard. That’s the most critical role for any Krzyzewski team. Frank Jackson is immensely talented but he wouldn’t be the first Duke freshman to struggle with the role.
However, there’s no question overall: this Duke team is loaded and loaded in the right way, too.
